Ktrue has officially entered the Latin American waste-to-energy (WTE) sector through a strategic collaboration with an Ecuadorian client and SUS Environment (Shanghai SUS Environment Co., Ltd.), a leading Chinese WTE technology and EPC company. The cooperation focuses on the Quito WTE Project, designed to process approximately 2,000 tons of municipal solid waste per day, contributing to Ecuador's sustainable waste management strategy supported by investors and local authorities.
Within this partnership, Ktrue provides expertise in feasibility studies, financial structuring, and PPP/BOT advisory, while SUS offers proven design, engineering, and environmental compliance solutions. The joint effort aims to introduce advanced Chinese WTE technologies to Latin America, promoting cleaner energy generation and circular-economy development across the region.
